Our theme this year is "Minuit à Paris" - Midnight in Paris. How cliche, eh? Oh well.. I'm sure it will be beautiful.. just very overdone.

Our theme for this year's prom is "Color Them Wonderful" which goes along with our theme song "i'll Be" by Edwin McCain, I'm in charge of decorations and we are going to have a Gazebo to walk through and Tulle fabric w/LIghts strung through it and tall pillars and then we are going to have a small park scene. The dance floor is going to be decorated with Tulle fabric hanging above us in different colors. We are also having the best floral shop in town do all our flowers, instead of ballons. Its going to look beautiful, I can't wait!

This is our first eight grade Prom and were so excited! We decided to do A NIGHT ON THE RED CARPET...its gonna be so awesome, were gonna have stars on the restroom doors, like it a stars dressing room, and we have a red carpet of course, and were gonna hang up a big Hollywood sign...our colors are red and gold....im so excited but, extremely nervous...I hope it turns out ok

hey, our theme last year was A NIght in Paris cause we hav an extended french program at our school so we decided on that theme cause half of us are in the french program!lol so everyine was okay with it & it rocked on!lol

Our prom theme this year is Athenian Dreams its like a Greek theme. We are having horse drawn carriages, people serving food in togas, and tons of awesome stuff.

Last years prom theme was captured in a dream, it was quite tacky, all light blue and white. The year before that was some tropical theme, it was awesome. We had this material that covered the whole cieling with tropical colors and we had a tiki hut and waterfall, it was beautiful.

Right before we opened the doors, we flooded the dancefloor with 400 white, ice pink and silver balloons.

Last year the theme for prom was "Diamonds and Ice". The budget was somewhere around $3,000 so it was pretty crazy. We built 10 foot columns and painted them pearl-white and then sprayed white glitter one them and draped white fabric with a pearly sheen to it over two or three columns. We also had these strange-looking trees that looked amazing in the dark. They were only cardboard but white and glittery and massive. They made really enchanting-looking shadows all across the dancefloor. Everything had diamond accents on it and the tables had white linens with a bouquet of twelve balloons on every centerpiece. We had white candles floating in a frosted bowl, as a centerpiece for every table. Our school has grade elevens "host" the prom, so that its other students and not teachers inside serving drinks and taking away broken balloons and random chores like that. Eight girls wore white knee-length dresses that the prom advisor had made fro us and the eight guys wore (rented) white tuxes with top hats and canes. It was really beautiful.

This year's theme is "A Night In Paris". A couple of years ago it was "Journey Through The Stars". We walked through a hall filled with stars and then we got in the room and each corner had a theme: a new york cafe-like thing, a hawaiian paradise, an egyptian like place and a bridge in italy. it was cool.

Our 2005 junior/senior prom theme is Escape to paradise. we are making palm trees, a waterfall using white and blue gossamer with streaming lights in them on top of rock colored styrofoam then the waterfall will continue into a river. the place we are having our prom is on a lake so we're having a path of tiki lamps down to the lake. we are giving leis to every person that comes in.

Prom 2005 this year is Arabian Nights. I'm not sure how we're decorating, but i think its alittle weird. If anyone else has had this theme, please elaborate and tell me what it looked like. Last year's prom was a night to remember.

Prom 2005 is going to rock, all the guys want the theme to be "Drop It Like It's Hott". Yeah I know sounds kinda corny but it's going to be great. All the girls want "Time of your life" off of Dirty Dancing, but I guess we'll see which one wins.

Our theme last year was "Garden of Dreams". We made a walkway through wooden archways covered in flowers and twinkle lights, and everyone walked down a cobblestone path that we made out of paper. We also created a waterfall and the path led you to a bridge to cross over it. It was absolutely gorgeous. We lined the path with small fish bowls with little tea lights in them and had only those and the twinkle lights for lighting. We also had black fabric with stars draped from the ceiling to produce a beautiful night sky to correspond with the path and the balloon trees that we made. We brought in live plants for surrounding the waterfall and had a pond with a fountain next to the bridge. Totally fabulous.

Our theme this year is Masquerade! Thats great and everything but we are having it in Modesto! The junoior class president thought it up and then told then they didnt give her any ideas which was a lie because i went to the class meeting that they gave all their ideas at! They all really wnted it to be at the beach somewhere or at a theme park and i thought those were great ideas! Nobody likes the president becasue she doesnt listen to anybody! For their sake I hope they get a new one next year!
